I have a dream we can float series of companies and create wealth for the youths, create employment and help in diversification of the economy with the Nairaland Group of Companies just like Dangote Group of Companies, my thoughts are;
How do we start?
How do we raise Capital?
what product do we start with?
Who will be the Director? Etc, Have you ever sat down to think how to move from a job seeker to an employer? As a nairalander i think this is a big dream that we need to make it come true.
we can start with springing different companies in all state of the federation with the brand name NAIRALAND GROUP, a Motto and a unique logo. We can see how we can start companies that produce the following NAIRALAND BISCUIT, NAIRALAND MEDICATEDSOAP, NAIRALAND DETERGENT, NAIRALAND TISSUE, NAIRALAND BREAD, NAIRALAND PEANUT, NAIRALAND HAIR CREAM, NAIRALAND TOOTHPASTE, WE OPEN FARMS WE HAVE NAIRALAND TOMATO PASTE, NAIRALAND VEGETABLE OIL, NAIRALAND RICE, NAIRALAND CATTLE RANCH, NAIRALAND GARRI, NAIRALAND BEANS

first we will make it a household name...seun will have to work on that.

With time we can go into much more capital intensive business like, the Nairaland Cement, Nairaland Sugar, Nairaland Salt, Nairaland Foam, Nairaland Transport Company, Nairaland Airways, Nairaland Refinery, Nairaland Petroleum etc Business Mananger's how is this possible i hate to see young guys and girls moving around with placard look we can collectively create jobs for oursleves how can we wake up and sleep with Nairaland Products in the future! Yea i know what's idea we need people that can need people that can give a good business plan with us starting the companies in all states of the federation with nairaland owner Seun the CEO with time and expertise the company will become a well known national brand bigger than dangote group. But sincerely i believe this would be very big,and it would go a long way of diversifying our economy, and also creating plenty job opportunities for the teeming unemployed youth population.

It will start from Seun, lalasticala, mynd44 putting it on frontpage for a wider opinion and suggestions and NAIRALAND GROUP becomes a household name in Nigeria, Africa and the World at large.

Lalasticlala do your thing 'FP' you have more sharp/productive/hot brains in here than you can ever imagine!!

I can bet on this idea and if it works one day it could help in espousing more young people in Nigeria to the business world to a large extent. Also, I suggest there should be a separation of Seun's business, Nairaland from the idea of OP and send him a personal message or letter. That way, I think Seun may consider betting on the idea. And if there is a more streamlined business target, with well planned operational rules. There will be quite a number of things to consider. Example, how is cash flowing, who should get a job in establishment, do you want to provide opportunity for work time sharing to lots of members, or extend work time sharing to employ more youths outside your network?, what an investor should expect, why should anyone put in their money?, etc...
Rationally, I consider this an ideal situation but impossible is nothing, it is an idea that must work as an innovation. I have looked for crowd-funding network that do business that I would be part of. I have attempted to create something similar with MLM but failed because I was not able fund forming the network.
If not Seun we can still make something happen. OP please tell us what's new...

We start by employing an expat as ceo.
Board members with seun as chairman with all shareholders.
Register with cac.
Then kick off with hotels restaurants and farming
