now last talk something serious.
We sometimes hear abt peoples relationship periods of 10 years and older, with some getting marriage and other breakingup after these long years.

Now how long should a relationship go before marriage?

Matured comments as this will help lots of persons.

1 month.

There shouldn't be a time frame. All you have to do is follow your heart.

Even if it breaks off after 50 years of being together, what is the big deal? You just carry on living. For me, even though break ups can sometimes be painful, but I still love new beginnings & starting over. The loss is often replaced by the excitement of not knowing what's next. Almost like shedding off old skin & watching in anticipation as the new one emerges.

months and weeks should never be means to determine..
Like people saying 6 and + months or 1 month...no
2, 3 or 4 yrs should be enough.

For the nigeria/Africa setting It should b the man cox any attempt by the woman to intiate marriage can/will get the man scared and the lady can b tagged "desperate".but if as a lady u r getting to 28-32 years, it's better u initiate the marriage move if d man condition/living standard Is okay.
