Yesterday, multiple sources revealed that singer, Skales and his manager, Osagie Osarenkhoe are in police detention after being invited to clarify allegations of fraud levelled against them by their record label, Baseline Music. While the whole messy drama continues, it has been revealed that Skales contract with Baseline Records states that the label will receive 70 percent of his earnings! In other words, Skales was to get 30% of his earning AFTER deduction of costs! An unconfirmed report also states that he can only leave the label if he pays them the sum of £10,000,000!

And the record label is willing to keep an artiste that wants to remain upcoming for life?  I just hope the story isn't true, coz that means Skales will use a whole state as collateral if he wants to leave  .I think it's contract like that that's keeping the devil from repenting  |
