Whether Odudiwa fall , flew or craw to ile ife he met yorubas there already in ife and he was made the king..
Ile ife is the ancestral home of all yorubas and oni of ife is the ruler..

Now answer the question where is the ancestral home of all igbos and who is the ruler..??

The people Oduduwa met at Ife were Igbo, and they were led by the Obatala dynasty, who held the titles Oba Igbo, Obi Osere Igbo , etc., etc., etc.

Point is, the Igbos were the aborigins of Ife, but theirancestral home is in the Umueri area of present day Anambra State. Won't say more than that, but to learn more, visit places like Nairaland Culture section, Igbodefender.com, etc., in these places you will see properly researched Igbo history that is still hidden for malicious or strategic reasons.

Op You wont get any answer because they can't give what they don't have ,all these people who have been contributing to the post don't know the answer if there is any .
Threads like this will keep popping up as long as the ibos see the Yoruba as their superior hence the bashing all the time of anything Yoruba. The only crime the yorubas committed is in once again proving superior to the ibos by spearheading the defeat of an incumbent president who happens to be the candidate of the ibos (the smart guy received them by including azikwe in his name)
Yoruba kingdom is known world wide and has spread its influence accross the world. One of the comments here was saying the ibos are republic in nature and has been practicing representative form of government before colonial masters came but no proof , the Yoruba system of kingship is the first democracy in the whole world .
I have had cause to ask similar question as the Op but mine is WHICH GREAT KINGDOM HAS EVER EXISTED IN IBOLAND , A great kingdom with great rulers and warriors who have fought many wars of conquest and expansion, a kingdom that built alliances with other great tribes/kingdoms and has come across other people incuding the Europeans and arabs . The ibos not having built any great kingdom will not understand the ways of the yorubas who watched as internal wranglings and intra tribal wars destroyed a once great kingdom they built. After the collapse of Oyo empire the yorubas were in disarray until modern day leaders emerge and built a new yorubaland in south west Nigeria today, learning from history that will never allow anyone push them into war again and this reality is what the ibos perceive as cowardice and even at that the yorubas are far greater than the ibos intellectually socially economically spiritually and physically. The earlier the ibos accept it the better. We have had cause to ask them to leave nairaland(a yoruba man creation) in the past but they begged and we're allowed to continue to in Falz voice "show the true character that they chose to be in life"

First igbo is a Yoruba words...which means Ohia in Ndi(Those) biafruad thieves...second Yoruba Cosmos ancestrals like Obatala,Oduduwa,Shango,Obameri(Baal),Obawinrin(Ugbo) ,Esu,Ogun,Orunmila and so on calendar is the oldest calendar in the world...Ndi hybrid thieves claiming Yoruba ancestral identity calendar only 1000plus years old...compare to Yoruba calendar kajoda oldest in the world...the descendant of obatala are Akalako of ipetumodu a yoruba ife North...Ndi Ohia has nothing related to Obatala...Ndi Ohia Biafruad hybrid shared same calendar rival with Muhammadan redbone fulani not Great Yoruba country with entire world civilization started from...i think we will start attacking ndi Ohia Biafra for plagiarism of Yoruba ancestors constellations...
