I thought some wanted Biafra, what then is their business with the rest of Nigeria?

By African standards, Nigeria is a big powerful nation in West Africa with the potential to become and even more powerful nation standing up for black people in the world. Nigeria wants a seat on the Security Council; Nigerians are ready to run world institutions such as the World Bank, UN, IMF and so on. Nigeria is on the cusp of leading black Africa into pursuing policies that are in the interest of Africa not the West. Already Nigerian music, cinema, fashion and ways of viewing things and arguing are becoming influential in Africa and abroad. One reason for this influence lies in the possibility that Nigeria is every African. By this I mean that Nigeria embodies the spirit, traditions and values that colonialism and racial prejudice destroyed in blacks everywhere else. Africans recognise their true selves in Nigerians. For instance, I watched a Ugandan music video the other day and was surprised to see some of the Ugandan girl’s curtsying respectfully to elders in the Nigerian tribal fashions. They do this because Ugandans did this in the past before they were made to be ashamed of their traditional values. Nigeria is also instilling self-belief in blacks worldwide, a belief that blacks can invent, be smart, can even dream of going to space by the efforts of their own hands not by relying on whites. For these reasons and more, it is in the interest of certain world powers to see Nigeria broken up into little less powerful bits.

Like i mentioned in another thread, when one reads through posts made by some of the more recursive advocates for Biafra on Niraland it become clear that they do not want Biafra but the break up of Nigeria. Biafra is just the excuse.

For Biafra to come about, the cancerous nation of Nigeria must be excorsiced.

It's that simple.

And why are you believing in the false unity of a colonial exigent arrangement?

Nigeria was crafted into one because there wasn't enough qualified colonial governors to go round and Lugard felt his prestige will do some good if his colonial domain was extended after losing out as Governor-General to both India and Egypt ( which once included Present day Egypt and Sudan).

The unity of this nation entails slaving the south and the eastern part of the nation. I say no. That's not unity, everybody shud go back to their natural resources and develop from there.

These same 'one nigerianist' arseholes ran to the west to get naval ships, guns and bombs with which they used to blockade Biafra, starve children and rape women and they will do same 100 times over but don't want Biafrans and Nigerdeltans to do same.

NDA and IPOB must start looking for international allies in the WEST and FAR EAST and offer them all the oil they want as long as they help us get rid of the evil parasitic northern bullies. The north will ally with the devil himself to destroy us if they have the chance. We must do same too.

Note: The OP is a northern muslim.

Nigeria was just a "British experiment" to see if certain ethnic nationalities could co-habit together. Even Lord Lugard who created Nigeria in 1914 gave it a shelf life of 100 years. We have had time to see that the union does not work. So the time for us all to return to the way we were before Lugard came has come.

I stopped reading your post immediately I read your first paragraph

West Africa with the potential to become and even more
powerful nation standing up for black people in the world.

Like seriously for 55yrs nigeria have not moved forward and currently we are even more divided with so much hate for each other and someone just made this statement,

FYI that potential was lost long time ago and its never coming back. Perhaps restructuring can by the country some time but that's it

they won't credit Nigeria of course, but it doesn't matter in the end, all that maters is that Nigeria's pride in her Africaness is helping Africa to get back her mojo.

African pride in her cultures will create industries in Africa for African fashion, Arts, products and will result in a stronger more confident Africa and inversely result in the loss of those industries in the West that exploit African inferiority complex. So it pays to destroy Nigeria, which is the instigator in renewed African consciousness before it is too late.
