One thing I don't understand about islam is why they fight everyone, fortunately they would insult the christians but from here

So, historically, Buddhism has been no more a religion of peace than Christianity.

Now we all complain the Quran makes muslims violent, but the Dharma makes these monks even more violent. Buddha Monks are far one of the most violent on earth, truth is they don't look for trouble unlike the fools up north.

Now why is Islam attacking christians, Hindu, and Buddha? Why does islam fight everyone?

I think it's simply because of the Abraham narrative: A man had no son. His aging wife gave him her maid to sleep with and, perhaps, get the promised heir. The maid got inpregnated by the boss and gave birth to a son-a supposed heir. But that wasn't the promise of God for Abraham and Sarah; Sarah was the one through whom Abraham was to have an heir. Then Sarah suddenly, and as promised by God, got pregnant and begot Isaac-the promised heir upon whom God's covenant with Abraham laid. As they grew, the maid's son began to assume his supposed first-born's position, thereby creating friction with his younger brother who was already tutored on his position. Sarah didn't take it kindly and, after troubling Abraham on the issue, sent her maid with the child away.
Now the child grew up and with her mother's side of the story. He swore vengeance upon Isaac, the heir apparent, and upon his descendants. But not before an angel had spoken to his mother about his future. He found no repentance.

Question: If you were Islam (or Ishmael and his lineage), how would you have reacted to the descendants of Abraham through Isaac?
Question: Shouldn't Ishmael and his mother have been grateful that she was worthy to have had a piece of the man favoured by God?
