I am personally very weary of Dangote flour as i am sure it will do another Nascon on us. initial rise, then sudden crash.
My brother look elsewhere, that stock is been manipulated.

 No i doubt it sha. E go rise, na those when quick get certificates dey do small small selling. E dey rise like PP.When e don do some serious percentage
rise before e go come crashing again.
Even me till today i no understand the kind one day Juju brokers do for that NASCON last year.

For the 1st time since last week i have finally smiled!!!!
My broker got me NEM last friday when it had reached 5.something. about the same time the plane started nose diving!! for 3 days i've been wearing oxygen mask, and praying. Today the plane has re-oriented itself upwards!! hip hip hurray!

by the way, i'm wearing my parachute on my back. as soon as i get to a reasonable altitude, i intend to jump plane before TS. if anyone knows when NEM is about to go on TS pls let me know!! i cannot afford TS!!

are there any other passengers on this NEM flight who entered late? if there are, we may need to start holding all nights prayer sessions!!!

cheers.

LondonCool:

@kpineo,

The candlestick pattern for Diamond Bank  today should be a "Shooting Star", (actually Nig.Securities.com don't always get the correct candle shapes) which infers that the Bulls controlled the ball for part of the game, but lost control by the end and the Bears made an impressive comeback .A Shooting Star can mark a potential trend reversal or resistance level.
what i see on my screen is a doji before that last candlo o!
and that means a slight bearish trend is still in place!
And the MACD parameters are all still slightly bearish.
But however, the momentum has started tilting up slowly, meaning entry point is NEAR! but not now
that shooting star is ONLY a trend reversal if the RSI, Stochastic and Fibo levels correlate its claims!!!

But for medium termers now is a definite period sha, but i am not so sure for those CICOers grin grin grin grin

Who is that sole punter who keeps on buying and selling Dangote Flour stock everyday since it was listed ? Is he a market maker?

Dangote dey BUY and SELL to himself. Watch the meagre units being sold.

pumping777:

@wanaj0 - Thanks for that tip on Japual.

How you take know say I do the PO? This an first PO casuality wey I lose out to oversubscription. For a reason I don't understand it was done in one tranch so nothing for me   5.5% ke? Mo gbe o.

You are a fanatical fan of Japaul.

Depending on how much you applied for, it is not that bad. Look at FCMB, if you applied for less than 1m units, you get full allottment. So things are getting better with PO's tongue

It is a mistake. Goldlink was listed @ 1.80 but closed yesterday @ 1.89. So it must have gained close to 5% today to close at 1.98.

Na 10m units you want to apply for

Well, I learnt that Investment and Allied Assurance is doing a PP @ 2.10 per N2.00 share. that emans when it is going to be listed, you will get four times the units you applied for. Was able to get some @ 2.10. Now I am thinking of getting more but was told that it is now N2.60. I expect listing in couple of weeks. Anyone know anything about this company? Anyone interested?

Yes, everything you have said so far is valid; but folks are exercising caution because of the 06 year end result. Their 9 months was very good then, but by full year PAT dwindled.

The issue is no one has been able to lay hands on their 05 or 04 results to determine if this is a normal trend or the 06 was just a one off occurence.
This is the main reason why the stock has not taken off I believe - if you get liver go in - The decision is yours.

I bought 20K of FCMB because I was being cautious. I was still a PO green horn (even floor sef) when I bought Japaul. It's the first time I ever tried this.

For Japaul, I applied for 260K units under 1 name so it wasn't good for me at all. Not complaining sha. Win some, lose some.

@Pumping,
I hail-o, looks like this PHB flight is making a complete stop-over for new passengers? has dropped to a reachable heights, what says the pilot??

Zenith doesn't seem to have much more fuel in it's tank to go any further, even the PULL expected from the ELEPHANT doesn't seem to be happening as the elephant itself is running out of gas (abi it's just retreating to gather more momentum to fire)

But seriously, you're right.Its always better to take position on a stock when its falling.You try and anticipate it before everyone else.
I think a good fall for PHB tomorrow will be an excellent entry for you.Then you'll get at a SAFE ZONE price,even if it falls slightly,you've already worn your seatbelt.You have this Thursday and Friday to chose an entry.You should be in a safe zone,then you wait.

On second thoughts, Insurance may be a minefield - but for those with iron liver, next week maybe a good time to enter.

My premise - They will not be stupid to go on T.S at the same time, we already have 3 on suspension, how many can actually come to the market at the same time?

Last year, the Banks timed it one after the other. I cant remember a time when more than 2-3 companies where in the market to raise funds, everything was staggered sort of.

My thoughts ooo, but may be unfounded.

@Pumping,

Do not say I told you oo.

However, tread with caution ooo - you now have to determine which ones are not ready to go yet. This is where we need instincts.

Aiico hasnt shown signs of slowing down - but It must experience turbulence by 6Naira, by force by fire.
