Chelsea climbed to second place in the Premier League as they preserved their 100% start to the season with an easy 2-0 win over Fulham at Craven Cottage last weekend. Goals from Didier Drogba and Nicholas Anelka sealed the deal for the Blues. So far, the pair are experiencing some pretty good chemistry. On the pitch, that is. Likely that they will stay put for this game.
Carlo Ancelotti isn't expected to make any major team changes. With the likes of Lampard, Mikel, Malouda and perhaps Deco in midfield, Burnley have definitely got a lot of work cut out for them. Defensively, the rock-solid John Terry remains in charge, with help from players like Bosingwa and Ashley Cole. Keeper Cech has his wobbly moments, but he hasn't done badly so far.
One mistake the Blues could make though is to underestimate Burnley. Especially as Chelsea seem to be getting into the habit of conceding first, then fighting to make a comeback. Thing just might backfire one lovely day.
Notwithstanding, Ancelotti's rugged diamonds seem set for another home victory.

Burnley might be 'underdogs', but they tend to fight hard when the situation calls for it. They defeated Hartlepool 2-1 in their last Carling Cup tie.
Manager Owen Coyle has got the options of Rodriguez, Thompson, Fletcher and Paterson in attack. With Guerrero and Chris Eagles available to keep  things flowing on the wings, there just might be some good attacking football for Chelsea to contend with.
Of course the Blues are the favorites for this game, but it still is football.  .  .one heck of an unpredictable game.
