After going viral earlier this week for what some social media users termed "unusual dressing" when he rocked sneakers and some traditional clothes, Imo State deputy governor Eze Madumere has slammed his critics.

His words:
“Yes, we are in a global village. We copy from one another but not everything and not because Mr. A says it. I am comfortable with this simple foot wears. By the way ain’t they good looking? It’s just a psychological thing. Brain washing and all are my take. I will take your advice in so far they do not affect my comfort while doing my job.

"I have seen designers come up with all sort of crazy outfits that even defile the so called fashion laws and yet we hail and fall over one another. The real fashion for me is that we achieve what may be useful to our generation and those yet unborn. Such legacies would remain fashionable even after we would have gone. That is fashion for me. When we begin to grow old, we get weary and nothing is so sweet any more but the greatest and sweetest gift we can give ourselves is to touch lives. By this we would have built a brand that will eternally remain fashionable."

Well, alotta people are jobless so they're just enjoying their joblessness.

Just like someone that came to my house the other day and called me a bush man because I dip my bread inside cup to make sure tea enter inside inside before I chop am.

He claimed that learned people don't eat that way. In other words he wants me to take tea with spoon as if na medicine I dey give small pikin and put bread for mouth when I must have swallowed the thing.

How's how I take my tea someone's business?

A group of people will just read books, come together and say we should stop doing this and we will adopt whatever they suggest.

It is truly a psychological thing.
