A militant group known as the Bakassi Strike Force has advised the Federal Government to listen to the agitation of the Niger Delta Avengers.Speaking in Esuk Mba, in Akpabuyo Local Government Area of Cross River State, leader of the group, Simple Benjamin said not negotiating with the separatists have retrogressive effect on the economy of the country.According to Benjamin, “There is no struggle without a reason and so, government should adopt the approach of the American Ambassadorto Nigeria who advocated for dialogue as war alone cannot solve their problems in tackling the issue.”Niger Delta Avengers has recently revived militant activity by launching several attacks on pipeline installation in the Niger Delta region.The militant group has also claimed responsibility for the said attacks.
