chronique: If you have the big Gen that can power your refrigerator, I will suggest you use that if phcn does not supply power just to power your refrigerator and use the small gen for TV, Musical set, Fan and lights which I still will suggest energy saving bulbs. The last time i bought it was #42,000 and that was before the foreign exchange ish. But I guess it should be up to #55k now or more but you can Google John Holt and make your inquiry. They are located at kudirat abiola, Oregun Ikeja. But trust me, that Gen is super and you will have peace of mind compared to the substandard one. 1 Like |

AntiWailer: Its not better but an okay situation given the circumstances. The issue now is how feasible is it that the government can curtail the activities of NDA? We are currently losing about 600,000 barrels per day. But by my analysis there is no way we will have 14.7 percent inflation rate in May, from 12.8 percent in April. I have a Charcoal iron and I also have a steel-fabricated iron (they sell it in the market) that I put on my small "camp" gas cooker to heat it up to iron. I prefer the steel-fabricated iron because it is lighter. Ademat7: 1 Like |

The drop can never be due to only one reason. I would expect that all the reasons given on this thread are correct to varying degrees. It's a pity we don't have proper statistics in this country. It would have been useful to know exactly how much less cars there are on the streets, how much less people are showing up to buy petrol in jerry cans for generator and how many people are leaving cars at home or car pooling. 2 Likes |

Truly, sales dropped. Most filling stations that were so excited during the period of scarcity now print big banners, hang right in front of their stations because they feel people are not aware that they have fuel for sale. I was shocked to even see one write boldly in its banner "NOW N140". Its hitting them hard too. 1 Like |

chronique:it's beta pass neighbor,i buy from a filling station with very correct litre and inside transparent 5litre keg. That 600 fuel will almost fill the 5litre keg, so I divide it into 3,tilt the gen towards the fuel outlet $ open that outlet slightly, forget it aye ti gbon,it will last ova 2hours $ i'll charge my phone $ do everything I need to do before it goes off, meanwhile i'm complaining that the gen is consuming too much fuel $i have taken it to the mechanic now for better conservation of fuel. |

megainvest: According to globalpetrol prices.com Nigeria sill has one of the cheap pump price in the world http://www.globalpetrolprices.com/gasoline_prices/ Thus smuggling is still very much attractive This drop is largely due to changing consumer habits and poor state of d economy Most states are owing salaries 1 Like |
