Young people are encouraged to marry young. Unfortunately, in the Muslim world today, the youth are told to finish their education first, complete their university studies, get their degree and so on, then get married. This causes many young people to go through the most difficult period of their lives unmarried. When they reach their late twenties or early thirties, then they get married. So what happened during those almost twenty years between 13 and 30? What happened to them? And whose fault is this? Primarily, it is fault of the parents. Of course, when they have reached the basis of adulthood in puberty they are held responsible of what they do, but the parents also carry a greater sin for not having helped them to get out of that situation.

Is this a hadith or something? I personally encourage early marriages because of obvious reasons( if spouses are mature and responsible)
Most people have associated early marriage with the wrong things(Teenage pregnancy,Financial difficulties e.t.c) but they are wrong, Marriage does not mean immediate child -bearing. It just eases of a lot of pressure(including mental and sexual) associated with the teenage-adult stages.
Early marriage does not stop your education, Infact,you may be married and your wife still lives with her parents if she is in school(YES!, Islam culture is different)

1)To preserve the chastity of our youths.
2)Married couples perform better at school or university and are more emotionally stable than singles

And it is compulsory for women who: has no means of maintaining herself, fears that her sexual urge may push her into fornication

and it is forbidden for a man who has no means to maintain his wife and children and has a serious illness that can affect his wife and offspring

To achieve that you have to finish your education or finished learning a trade.
