I am sure Modu Sherriff has in his own head valid reasons why he should remain PDP chairman. In due course this argument will be settled by the courts.

In the meantime however Sherriff should not destroy the party he wants to lead.

There is clear and recognised PDP leadership in Edo State and the rest of Southern Nigeria. These people should steer the affairs of PDP in Edo State.

Ize Iyanmu has a good chance of defeating the Oshiomole third term via Obaseki. The Oshiomole/Obaseki ticket is weak but PDP are at risk of self destructing if Modu Sherriff does not calm down!

Sherriff must stop all sales of forms in PDP primaries as forms are already sold.

The likes of Hope Uzodinma in Imo State should not allow themselves to be used as spoilers in Edo politics. Hope who is a party chieftain should come out confidently and endorse the recognised PDP leadership in Edo state!
