Now that you've a choice, I would advice that you read wide, scrutinize, compare and contrast, observe and checklist every religion. Then you can make a choice

And if after all, you still choose any religion, then you've not studied enough!.

Let me start by introducing my self, My name is farouk and I am a muslim, I came from a family that gave zero tolerance to religion, specifically my dad he doesn't care about religion in fact he didn't give us proper orientation about islam. Thank God to my mom she is a religious person because she came from a well known religious family but she end up marrying a man that has non Islam background,he just answer his name as a Muslim but he hardly put it into practice he doesn't follow congregation prayer, always condemning Muslims.

I love my dad and my mom so much , I can't even describe it in words how I love them. But the religion issue in my family is my big problem and threat that am facing.

my thought about my religion? yes I love my religion, I knew that the religion is already deep down inside me, I only need someone to help me found the religion that is in me, I have little knowledge about it, I also feel sick and detest it when someone insult my religion but thank God I have self control.

How I wish I was born in a religious family,
how I wish I have a religious friends,
how I wish I grew up in a religious community,
how I wish......

am still doing my research on both religion christainty, and Islam, but if nothing good comes from both then I have no choice to be Athiest

If you are genuinely looking for a muslim to advise you on what to do, then you have come to the wrong place. There is a muslim only section where you will find the kind of advice that you are looking for. But if would advise you, I will tell you to free yourself from the shackles of islam and come to christ.

My brother you should never be deceived by the devil. Allah has blessed you with his religion, the one which you will go to paradise with it.

Some people here suggested you follow Jesus. Why follow Jesus when you're already following him. Such people are not telling you to follow Jesus BUT they are only telling you to leave Jesus. Because as a Muslim you're already a follower of Jesus, because Jesus was a Muslim just like Adam, Abraham, Isaac may the peace be upon all of them. There are only telling you to leave Jesus as prophet and take him as God.

I have many issue, The biggest of it, is I don't have any knowledge about Islam, because I have never attended any Islamic school.

You don't need religion, because it won't take u to anywhere, you only need Christ Jesus
