Gradually islamization is creeping but ppl don't get to c it yet. Tomorrow they advocate for xtian prayers not to b said in the xtian school because Muslims attend the school. Na small small oil dey take stain the whole hand from a drop. Hijab is your right, and the school also has a right on who dey admit or enforce uniforms they want...This is ST. CHARLES...Not St. Secular school or surajudeen ausarudeen Muslim college etc not a christian named schools. Who is sponsoring this? Your plans would fail! Millerz: Illiterate girl, so you think because the school is named "St. Charles" makes it a christian school, for your information , the school is a government school and not a christian school, the government realized that most of these schools have secretly agendas of trying to convert Innocent students to Christianity and since then they have been in war with the government 1 Like |

With little or no apology ,I must say this is total madness. The Constitution is above every religion and not the other way round. If the clerics want their girls wearing hijabs , then send them to a Muslim school and stop disturbing the peace of Nigerians. There are other religions in this country and they do not impose their way of life on others. |

in case of any violence, my advice to the Christians. don't let anyone tell you to love your neighbor as yourself. it's getting started in the south. north is overrun already with Fulani doing final touch to middle belt. wake up and arm yourselves. it's almost time for the war. |

Why are they making this an issue ? If this is a Christian private school and they don't want "Hijabs" then move your ward to where it'll be acceptable 1 Like |

Johnnyessence:I beg to disagree. The school is NOT a christian school. It might have been established by Christians as a christian school, but it stopped being a christian school the day it was taken over by the State. It is now a GOVERNMENT school where all students of different faith can attend and have their faith respected. For a school to be a christian school, it must be owned and run 100% by Christians or a Christian group without government input other than in a supervisory role. In view of this, these girls should be allowed to wear their hijab if they so desire. I own and run a christian school and I have muslim pupils in my school. If any of the parents should apply to have the daughter wear a hijab on top of the school wisdom, I will allow it. It does not in any way offend me. This is just a personal opinion. If you do not agree, I will respect your views. 2 Likes |

See all them silly kids,, lazy ass mofo's who should ignore protests and be in school, and since when did hijab became a constitutional right arrant nonsense and poo.....Nigerians like to copy blindly, areas where they use this hijab thingy very are the desert areas and its cause of the dust and all they wanna do now is wear it to school..... come to think of it why should a christian school allow hijab, ordinarily what are they doing in christian schools if they can't stick with the islam thingy, the vice versa of this cannot be allowed in a muslim school tho 1 Like 1 Share |

Squares: Not go to court; the Muslim Clerics should ask the State ministry of Education to pass a circular to the school principals who are their employees to implement. Why are they forcing the principals to go against their employers? |

One of our major problems in this country is religion intolerance. I'm a christian and a devoted one by the grace of God but I don't see why the issue of hijab should be causing problem. Moreover, these girls are only covering their heads not their faces. We should learnt respect everyone for who they are. And south west is so unique in a way that in every family who will surely find someone from the two major religion. So why the headache. 1 Like |

Johnnyessence: Schools which buildings are built by government, furnitures provided by government, school uniform provided by government, teachers recruited and paid by government, such schools can never ever be called christian or muslim schools, they are all government schools.
