That's always the modus operandi, kill the black and kidnap the white for ransom. Remember back then in Ph when this kidnap thing started, it was the norm to kill the police protecting the expatriate and kidnap the expart for ransom.

This are definitely terrible times. Not good for the image of the country trying to attract inflow of foreign investment.

This has nothing to do with oil, Buhari or militants. Macmahon is an engineering çompany in contract with Lafarge cement i.e Unicem in calabar. It's likely a community issue, or misunderstanding with management.

How is it possible for about 30 people to plan and execute a heist or kidnap and no news concerning the indntities of the perpetrators has leaked into the public domain?

The higher the number of people involved the higher the probability of getting caught cos information is bound to leak.

Unfortunately, the efficiency of our police force is another story altogether... undecided
