there are two interesting opinions;

first [/b]and really pathetic - as you said - those who claim witch hunt for a pure business transaction. You owe banks. I pay on your behalf on condition that if you can't pay me, I recover my money as equity. One reason for this is the over-zealousness of the Amcon staff who make it seem like they would close down the place rather than take over or sell out.

[b]second - those who put him in the category of criminal and corrupt and who is receiving his due punishment. these ones dont understand that there is nothing criminal about owing and failing to pay back. it is purely civil.

Nigeria is known to have some of the best laws and constitution in the world. However, our institutions are weak to implement the laws regarding their area of specialization. We don't need a President for AMCON to her duties and implement state laws regarding bad loans acquisitions. Neither do we need a President for EFCC or DSS to do her job. All our parastatals and govt agencies are set up for certain purposes. Let them carry out their duties to the letter and our political and socio-economic situation would as strong and stable like that of western countries.
