For a 3-yr post stroke what the patient needs is good rehabilitation. And you don't need to fly the patient abroad for this. The rehabilitation standard is similar across the globe. Ensure u get a neurologist and sound physiotherapist to monitor him. The services of other professional such as speech therapist might also be required. In all I honestly think the patient can be adequately managed here. The kind of care the patients receive at the acute phase (first 7 days) determines the outcome.

Good morning friends, please my dad has stroke on the 15 of feb 2018, though it didnt affect his speech, he can talk normal, but his hands and legs were affected.we took him out of the hospital cos they were not being professional in the govt hospital. got a physiotherapist for me , along the line, a native physio was consulted. but to there was stil no improvement. he can just lift the hand a little but the leg is not. but he can feel sensation on both hands and legs. what can he use to speed up his recovery process. Hello, have you contacted any qualified physiotherapist for your dad's recovery? There's nothing as native physio but a quack simple and short. Don't patronize the service of a quack parading as native physio. The person must be university trained & licensed by MRTB in order to be designated a Physiotherapist.

I was at the age of 5years when my Dad always treat stroke patients and any form of paralyzed patients.
