But today the churches have become breeding ground for corrupt and immoral practices. Members engage in sins that the Bible has blatantly condemned. Pastors carefree about these grievous sins committed by their members as long they retain followers and also enrich their pocket.

Hence, even when they notice continuous and willful serious sins been practised by their members, they refused to expel them.

They use the excuse that God is merciful, "His grace"... blah blah blah. Whereas they ignore the Bible command that unrepentant sinners be expelled.

Adam and Eve was expelled from the garden of Eden. Cain was banished. The angels who sinned were expelled from heaven. Twenty three thousand fornicators were cut off in Israel in one day (1 Corinthians 10:. Achan was put to death.

Some people will say that was old testament but then I Corinthians 5:11 which is the new testament says that : We should not associate with anyone called a brother who is a fornicator, idolater........

Do pastors not see these?

The church is suppose to maintain purity doctrinally and morally. It is suppose to be clean and chaste if God is to show his favour upon it. Revelation 2:5, I Corinthians 5:5,6.

Since the church leaders tolerate atrocities committed by it members, they retain and increase their followers, thus a fornicator, adulterer, idolater, thieves are very much comfortable in the church. And when they finish service, the worldly life begins.

The reason today despite the many churches we have, our society is debased..These misconducts are not practised by pagan but members of Christianity.

Let us for once be honest and admit the truth that the churches of today have become breeding of immorality and loose conduct.

Pastors hardly hammer on holiness and purity. Rather they focus on offering and tithe.
That is why today some churches will honour a marriage where the lady is already pregnant as long both couples have already pay money.

Expelling unrepetant sinners keep the church clean and also serves as a lesson to others. God holy spirit cannot dwell in a church where serious sins are tolerated.

But most churches dont..

The church is moving forward though many today are joining the church as a cover up to commits evil, nevertheless God knows His own.

Church na charade..Believe me 95% of Christians practise pre-marital sex but they go evangelism to preach dont fornicate, dont not steal etc.

One thing for sure is thing if churches decide to do cleansing, their members will be reduce and their financial status will drop. Politicians steal money and take to the church and pastors will bless them.

To me it a waste of time going to church when you cannot even keep one single commandment found in it..To bad many take God's mercy for granted. By the way which of the churches normally use the word "His grace" as an excuse to practise sin?

Well that's not my point, the point is we're in morally decadent times and even many church leadership aren't clean hence they don't have the moral authority to preach against sin, what we have now is the glorification of tithes and offering as a means to curry God's favour. I for one can't worship in a church where sin isn't directly preached against.
However, I don't subscribe to harsh church discipline which includes ostracizing a sinful member, no! I rather prefer the biblical injunction of "correct one another in LOVE ".

Madam yeye it's not an issue of antagonism, it's an issue of "let he who is without sin be the first to cast a stone ".
No one claims a monopoly of holiness , many Christians are struggling to overcome their sinful habit, it's not like they love to commit sin. We're surely in the last days where both sin and grace are multiplied, just as the bible says : "except the days be shortened, even the very elect would fall away". Jesus knows what we're all going through, that's the reason why he came to die for us because "it is not God's will that any man should perish, but that all should come to the knowledge of the truth. "

If the churches wield the big stick on members as the op advocates, they would inadvertently push them into the warm embrace of the world.

Lastly I have to point out that "by grace are ye saved not by works, lest any man should boast". Anyone who is holy (like the op), we'd Thankgod for ur life, while we also request that you pray for those who are struggling with sin.

the reason why the Church cannot produce holy Christians is a lot more then what you've just discuss here. You need to get closer to God so that he can reveal more to you.

I am sure you are pain for the truth being revealed. The op only used the Bible to pass a message..So are you saying that people shouldnt point put wrong things in Christianity? So they should celebrate wrong doing? I am not a holy person but when I see the truth or being told, I accept it cos it for my benefit.

There are different roads that lead to golgotha.

Paul and Peter had a similar disagreement on this issue, and they stated their opinion in their books of the bible. None being more superior than the other, the ultimate aim being to point all men to Jesus and prepare us for Heaven. It says you must be holy.
So it a command and not an option.
