I bought PayPal of about $1k one evening last week.

The next day PayPal sent me the same request they sent you asking for further personal information

i provided the proof of ID and proof of address

Few hours later i received email from them saying my account is getting closed

I can only assume the source of funds is the issue for them wanting to close the account.

Although i have a few more PayPal accounts im a bit wary of buying anymore funds

Can you post the phone number he chatted you with and the bank account details you paid into? Because you may have been scammed without knowing! I noticed he never quoted you back after you mentioned him here

Since I take no pleasure in defaming people/businesses, I would have done the needful even without this post nor your THREATS.
Like I stated on WhatsApp since you claim its time "to TEACH me a lesson for calling you out here" and as you revealed this was your plan all along.
The best way to approach this is simple, you send the money to a neutral but trusted party here (see persons in cc below)
And then I will gladly retract my earlier POST. I don't see why this is an issue. or Should it ?
After all, if I don't keep my word, I won't be paid.
