Breaking news: "All those fans who were flying high criticising C.Ronaldo in EURO, have now landed so badly and crashed into peaces, after Messi flop in Copa America, sending the ball into another planet as they usually say"
After all he is a player from another planet grin.

. I know e missed and anybody can miss a penalty, penalty is anybody's game. But do u realise dey ve failed to score a single goal in d three finals dey have played in recent years Higuian most especially always end up missing d best chances in d finals.I think dats d greatest concern dey have if Messi doesn't score its always a problem for others to step in d final which is not met to be so because dey have d qualities.
And the strikers are always wasteful when it comes to finals. If you watched the match live, you would spit on the so called good strikers they have upfront.

And someone would still want to compare Suarez with aguero

don't waste ur time Bro,Messi has finally decided.I once wrote an articule about Messi and Mikel=Prodigy and tradegy.well both have prodigy but started in place of one another.Nemesis seems to catch up with Messi where it hurts most. What brought Messi into Limelight was cheating Nigeria of that U20 world cup!!!
What u sow u reap.
I remember The way Mikel cried that day!!! Mikel cried earlier, now Messi is crying Late.
The comparision between two players is indescribable, but how they started is what matters talkless of how they end.
The corrupt Fifa has always be Favouring messi, now that sepp and platini has gone,i ask you did u hear anything about Messi outside barcelona
What rubbish are you typing ?
How can you even compare the two?
This is a joke abi?

I have said it time and time without number that, 'if messi wish to success both in the national and club team all time let him leave away from spanish league to Italy, Germany cos that will surely improve him as all time record as a football legendary

I was enjoying reading sensible comments here, until I came across this post.

What has that got to do with winning silverware with country?

Messi is just a sissy that cannot admit his failure, he fell and decided not to rise again by quitting

#quitter #sissy
He has fallen FOUR times bro. That should be a record.
It's not easy, but I don't think he meant what he said. He his still pained. Messi needs to sit with higuain and argentina elders to ask WHY EVILS from him.

Messi can only have himself to blame for his national team woes. He's an icon in the world of football with a very high level of control and authority. He knows how he's been used to achieve success in Barcelona, why did he stick to the midfield role for the national team knowing fully the havocs the useless players upfront have done in times past? Di maria, Aguero, Palacio and Higuain have all failed to deliver when it mattered most, and these same players have always been played upfront with Messi playing behind them. Is that how it worked for him in Barcelona? No! Why can't he insist on player upfront where he can decide things himself rather than passing to a certain Higuain who has sworn never to do well in the finals? Or does the team have no player who can bring the ball from the midfield to the forwards? Messi at times, instead of pass to the useless players upfront could have decided to single-handedly take on his markers and score, this he's done so many times in Barcelona. He's the focal point in Barca while he's just another player in the national team.

For what shall it profit a man if he dribbles the whole players on the pitch and go home without a win and misses a penalty as well

You should have asked him how many clubs did Iniesta played in before winning three finals consecutively. Or even the great Maradona

What is the usefulness of winning 7-0, 4-0, 5-0 and scoring hat tricks, doubles if you can't win a tournament.

Argentina have scored a massive 0 goals in 4 straight finals.

Brazil 3-0 Arg 2007 copa final

Germany 1-0 Arg 2014 world cup final

Chile 0-0 Arg 2015 copa final

Chile 0-0 Arg 2016 copa final.

Leave them. What they don't know is that Messi enjoys a lot of sentiments among football legends, coaches and captains.
Messi needs to be average in a calendar year while Ronaldo needs to be everything for him to beat Messi to the balondor.

Even with his champions League triumph in 2014, Ronaldo still needed 2 weeks extension voting to win the award. He was behind ribery and Messi.

hmmm!

What a very sad ending for his national footballing career!

He had a very excellent beginning for his nation winning the 2005 WYC and Olympic football tournaments in Holland and Beijing resp. Incidentally Nigeria was the opponent defeated in the final of the two events.

I'm tempted to say if Nigeria was opportuned to play and qualify for these football finals, Brazil 2006, Copa America 2015 and 2016, Messi would be celebrating 3 consecutive medals for his country this morning.

Messi please don't retire. Messi please fast and pray for Nigeria and Argentina to qualify against all odds and meet in the final of 2018 world cup so that you can celebrate a trophy playing for Argentine national team
lol grin grin grin grin grin nice one bro

But did you watch the final?

Though I'm pro-Ronaldo, it's a shame to see him exit country football.
I think he'd come outta retirement. He's prolly been overwhelmed by emotions.

I disagree bro. I think a better approach is for him to organise a conference in his village; Where he will discuss modalities for granting old men and women above 90years amnesty. grin shocked

Am a barca fan, huge fan of messi but his decision is far away from professionalism.

In 2baba's voice...

"Quitter never win, if u try nd u fail dont be shy of defeat

yer mistake dont repeat instead u learn from it and

take alot of courage to keep on moving "

I don't know the kind of useless coach wey dey always use higuain (badluck), it is so hard for him to utilize single out of 20 one on one in a single match.
