A popular Comedian, Musician and Edo State President, Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria, Mr. Maleke Idowu Moye popularly known as Maleke narrowly escaped death yesterday when some suspected thugs allegedly attacked him with dangerous weapons and inflicted life threatening injuries on him in Benin City.

The incident took place at a popular club 'Aso Time' in Benin City. Maleke who is receiving medical treatment at the hospital, expressed shock at the attack.

Maleke was reported to have been stabbed severally along side his friends.
