CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) is
used for surveillance in areas that may
need monitoring such as ,
Offices, Banks, Houses, Stores etc

There are many benefits of using a
CCTV security system. The most common benefits that get
reported to us are:

Increased deterrent – CCTV
systems are a great deterrent to
potential thieves. Once they realise
that your home or business is
protected by a closed circuit
television system they invariably
choose to go somewhere else.

Safer working environment –
CCTV helps to ensure adherence to
health and safety policies and can
be invaluable in staff training.

CCTV Reduces retail theft – shop lifters
deliberately target businesses with
poor security and will think twice if
there is an increased risk they may
be caught on camera.

Increased detection – the
prosecution rates for businesses /
home owners using CCTV is many
times higher than that for those
without CCTV. If you are unfortunate
enough to be a victim of crime at
least there will be a strong chance
of detection and conviction.

CCTV Eliminate fraudulent insurance
claims – in an increasingly litigious
society is has never been more
important to protect your business
against claims that are not
legitimate. CCTV can eliminate this
and reduce your premiums.

Remote monitoring – keep an eye
on your home or business when you
aren’t there. All our CCTV systems
can be viewed and controlled
remotely over the internet (via an
iPhone, laptop etc).

Reduced fear of crime – knowing
you are well protected gives a
feeling of security that should not be
underestimated (ask anyone who
has been burgled how they felt
immediately after it occurred).
Receive warnings in advance –
AIS CCTV systems can alert you of
any suspicious activity (via text or
email), enabling you to view what’s
happening and if necessary notify
the police BEFORE a crime has been
committed.

Staff protection – CCTV is perfect
for preventing assaults and false
claims of misconduct (ideal for
schools, hospitals etc).

Tips On Where To Install Your CCTV camera

Here are four spots you should
always install a home surveillance
camera:

1. Front Door

An estimated 34% of all
burglars enter your home
through the front door , so
you’ll definitely want to train one
of your surveillance cameras
here. To prevent a thief from
knocking out your camera, place
it at second-floor level, or even in
the eves of your house, and train
it on the front door. If your home
has just one level, consider
enclosing your front door camera
in mesh wiring to protect it from
errant rocks, sticks, or other
weapons.

2. Back Door

Another 22% of home burglars
enter through the back door, so
you need a camera here, as well
(and if you have side doors, they
count as back doors for sake of
statistics). The bottom line is, arm
each entry door with a camera.
Again, make the effort to place
your camera out of the reach of
human hands, or to protect it
from projectiles, like rocks or
sticks or anything an intruder
might hurl at it.

Expert Tip: Be sure to install a
camera that’s both weatherproof
and is equipped with night
vision.

3. Backyard/Side Gate
Crooks love a good backyard,
since they’re often brimming with
expensive lawn & garden
machinery, recreational
equipment, and kids’ toys. Arm
your yard with motion-sensor
floodlights and a night vision
surveillance camera to protect
your home and belongings. If your
backyard is fenced in, make sure
your camera has a view of the
entrance gate (or install a second
camera there).

4. Basement Stairs
Many basements have access
hatches/doors, or at least small
windows that are large enough to
crawl through. Place a camera on
the stairs leading up from the
basement to your home to record
any wayward prowlers who sneak
their way into your home via the
subterranean route.

Just seeing a security camera is
enough to make a home intruder
move on to another home. Don't be a victim integrate CCTV system today
