The journey of a thousand years,
Embarked upon by two parties.
Expectations were high
A promised unending journey.

I placed all my eggs in one basket.
Sacrificed my precious little time.
Expecting your loyalty in return.
So painful you paid me back by sailing out of sight.

Past memories reflecting in my mind.
Your promises re-echoing through my ears.
My imaginations outlived my thinking.
My inner flying butterflies are dieing.

I wish i could view your face once again,
Feel your cold embrace or;
at your brim to set myself inhale your breath.
.But our thoughts now differ.
.
.
The battle line is drawn.
My past is left behind.
As i drift in the sea of tranquility.
Exploring in a new direction.
Goodbye my love.
