For all the christians that claim their god & his holy book are about love...... remember this passage you pretend to ignore?


"Deuteronomy17:2-5, If there be found among you, within any of your gates which the lord your god gives you, man or woman, that has done wickedness in the sight of the lord your god, in transgressing his convenant, 3: And has gone & served other gods, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which i have not commanded; 4: And it be told you, and you have heard of it, and inquired diligently, and, behold, it is true, and the thing certain, that such abomination has been done in isreal; 5: Then shall you bring forth that man or that woman, who has committed that WICKED thing, unto your gates, even that man or that woman, & shall stone them with stones, till they die.


Is this love or jeolousy and hate?


Any pastor should please explain the meaning of the verse since the bible tends to be more esoteric in nature?

God is jealous


Nahum 1:2 |
God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.


God hates unrighteousness

Romans 1:18 |
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
