It is not new that Google names its Android OS after desserts. After much debate, Google has announced the official name of its next Android – Android N called ANDROID NOUGAT. Nougat is a family of confectioneries made with sugar or honey, roasted nuts (almonds, walnuts, pistachios, hazelnuts, and macadamia nuts are common), whipped egg whites, and sometimes chopped candied fruit.
