About 20 suspected criminals have been paraded by the FCT Police Command in Abuja.

The Suspects were said have committed different crimes in parts of the country including Abuja.

The suspects were said to have been engaged in car snatching, robbery, possession of life ammunition, possession of stolen vehicles and other personal belongings of unsuspected victims.

They are members of different syndicate groups that operate along Lagos- Abeokuta axis, Ibadan, Anambah and the FCT.

The commissioner of police, FCT Police Command, Alkali Baba Usman said the police acted on intelligence from well-meaning Nigerians who gave tangible information about their criminal activities.

The Police Commissioner lso disclosed that ahead of the Eid el-fitri celebration, officers and men have been deployed at strategic areas of the territory.

While advising FCT residents to assist police with useful and timely information, he advised Muslim faithful not to carry bags and baggage to the praying ground to ensure smooth security operations.
