Wales will be playing for third place after losing to Portugal. Cristiano Ronaldo sending a sharp header into the Welsh net just five minutes into the second half and Nani adding another, three minutes later.

There was another chance when Ronaldo tried scoring another from a free kick which just passed slightly over the cross-bar in 62nd minute and yet another in 64th minute which was saved by Wales' goalkeeper. Gareth also tried a shot outside the 18 yard box but was saved by the Portuguese goalkeeper.
