FEW hours after its twitter handle was shutdown, Niger Delta Avengers, a highly dreaded militant group operating in the Southern part of Nigeria, has launched a new twitter handle @Real_Ndavengers and a website .

The militant group had, in the previous months, promoted attacks on oil installations in the Niger Delta using its Twitter handle @Niger Delta Avengers before it was taken down by the officials of Twitter.

However, the group believes that the Federal Government must have instigated “Twitter Nigeria” to shut down its twitter handle and throws shade at the Federal Government saying “@NGRPresident We are back in it” via its new Twitter handle.

Their oil has been sustaining this country for years, yet they lack the basic things of a average Nigerian and have been let down by many with so many promises.

I don't blame them that much.... Too many years of neglect and insensitivity on the part of Government brought about this struggle.
