You can never understand what is called love without knowing God and understanding His purpose on earth.

Love is seen by men in different dimension. Someone may give out his belongings and yet be for selfish interest which defeats what true love is all about. Someone may appear spiritual yet not loving. The only yardstick or parameter which depicts love is Christ Jesus who sacrificially gave himself for our salvation.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16). Every true love will always take its source from the love of God. This is because God is love.

Love is the only solution to every inadequacies in the life of men. It is the most important gift of God to the entire human race. Consequently, the Lord placed you where you are to measure up the inadequacies in the lives of men even as He also placed them around you to meet up with your short comings.

Therefore, true Love is all about being sacrificial in every aspect of life. The appearance of the lives of some men can prophesy good things to come; such prophecies will cease. Don't base your love on the basis of gifts or the knowledge at your disposal; they are bound to fail. Rather let it be found on deep understanding of purpose. You are not ready to love until you have prepared to give yourself away.
