The Association of Vice Chancellors of Nigerian Universities (AVCNU) via its Secretary-General, Prof. Michael Faborode, has refute reports credited to the association that the Federal Ministry of Education and other tertiary institutions stakeholders have unanimously agreed on N2,500 as fee for post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (post-UTME) screening.

Speaking to reporters, he stressed that it is the duty of the Ministry of Education not the association to make such pronouncement.

He further said that the reporter misinterpret the association released statement that Post-UTME is now N2,500 thus the reporter lost the proper content of it communique.
