Also check if there are not too many touts living in the area. Some Behind areas have useless and hopeless youths who are always fighting from Street to Street. Op let me add this under the spiritual covering.....at the front of every building that is the roof there is always an opening for ventilation,now for most normal houses all you will is a perforated bricks covering that hole while some might even put a design of their choice on it but for those bad houses the design of the perforated brick is usually that of two scorpoins so beware of such houses cos they belong to powerful persons... leakages : so on point, recently moved to a new apartment everything was fine until I filled my tank with water and it turned out the whole of the pipes in the house were leaking even after turning off the taps plus the over head tank itself... I bought tanker water twice in two weeks. Nepa bills: I didn't ask about electricity bill seeing that It was a new house I just assumed they use pre-paid, my neighbour bill came few days ago and I saw 6000 Naira, for a month and he told me with a straight face that's what every flat pays. even though there hasn't been constant light for the past month. Pets: my down neighbor has a big dog that always spring out from no where to bark at me everytime I go to hang clothes at the back.. I'm tired of running. 5 Likes 1 Share |

I rented a place recently and I didn't check for network, turns out network was awful there and you need to come outside the house to make calls and can't receive calls inside. Don't forget mould. People don't realise how deadly this is. Looking back now, i remember almost every house we lived in having it. Mould can gradually break down your immune system over time and it is very dangerous for people with asthma. |

most importantly check if you got service provider is the network bar is strong...so as to receive calls when at home....
I do visit my uncle in ahoada,its only in the dinning that I can get strong network bar,so 24/7 my phone is on the dinning table if not my phone turns off automatically when called. |
