Major portion as much as 60% of weight of satellites is taken up up the fuel inorder to carry out orbit correction maneuvers in space through out its operations. Satellite life is directly proportional to amount of fuel carried onboard , when it finishes , the satellite orbit gets lower and lower and ends up burning in atmosphere.

Electric propulsion allows indefinite lifetime limited by only health of the satellite.

Is combat testing and evaluation of onboard systems only tested in real life combat environment? You want to drop bombs right? You can drop them anywhere. The bomb doesn't give a damn if it's ISIS or a plain ground as long as target is met.

Been in Nigeria for some months. I could easily decipher the little sense in him through unnecessary comments. There's something called intelligent arguments. You can share a different opinion without using vulgar language and that will make the whole issue sound great with the wrong person accepting his or her mistakes. However once you've added insults, no one gives a damn if he's wrong or right anymore. It's not just about the conversation again but making sure he drags and embarrass the other person too.
