A luxury dog spa offering pampering sessions for pets has just been opened in Japan. The D+ Kirishima offers high-end gourmet meals, luxury baths and overnight stays. It also has a resident Shinto priest to help exorcise dogs possessed by evil spirits.
The "Pet Dog Exorcism Plan" listed on the spa's website is suggested for dogs in their “unlucky health years".
“Seven-year-old, 10-year-old, and 13-year-old dogs need to be careful of their health, as it’s easier in those years for them to gets diseases of ageing,” they explain.
