the other night I arrived Lagos. very early in the morning through ikoorodu. every where was well lit up. it shows how radical Lagos is far from others.

A national grid makes no sense in a place like Nigeria. Let each state take care of its own power needs.

Those that cannot generate their own power can purchase from those that have excess.

Only on this street, (Joseph dosu way) come to badagry in the night and see total blackout especially ajara. People at iberoko and aradagun area enjoying the real light more than the badagry main town itself.

Tinubu tried dt when he was governor. All d plants were imported & everything, but the federal government frustrated it.

In Nigeria, u have to go through the national grid to get light in ur state. NEPA/PHCN doesn't invest in individual grids for states, only d national grid connects to pples homes.

@all the light have not working for almost 8month now.....is because Ambode is coming to Badagry they try and repair the light ..by next they we not on light again.

I keep hearing igbos developed lagos from their them, as if the Governor or the commisioners and all the LGA chairmen are Igbos. You make money in lagos we tax you and use it to develop the state.

As usual this is just a face dressing to me. Few months ago this street lights were not working just because the governor is on working visit to all the local govt areas in Lagos they worked on them to go off in the shortest time. Street light powered by gen in this 200p/l economic time.

Electrification of the country is under the Federal government. Moreso 200MW cannot light up Lagos.

at least he is doing something,the last gov planted flowers nd beautified lagos,cleared places like oshodi nd yaba,if nigerian past presidents has been hard working like the lagos state governors,nigeria would have been a better place compared to south africa.
