It was Pandemonium in Kaduna Thursday as Department of State Security DSS operatives stray a bullet killed a traveling woman along Kaduna- Abuja Express way.

The incident was said to have happened around 2:15 pm in Jere along Kaduna - Abuja highway when the DSS operatives attempted to shot another vehicle and in the process shot at the woman in another vehicle.

The woman along side her five children was said to be inside a boarded commercial vehicle on their way from Abuja down to Kaduna when she was hit by the DSS bullet.

The person who shot the bullet must be taken to learn more shooting lessons in the prison for life.

The incompetence of DSS operatives is becoming something else. Earlier today, I saw a report about a court ordering DSS to pay a man twenty million for unlawful detention; Are we to talk about their penchant for harassing opposition members?, Now this... They just killed an innocent woman.

Anyways, the Kaduna-Abuja highway is now the most dangerous in d country. Several kidnap incident has occurred there in d past 2 weeks including dat of d sierra leonian envoy. Am sure an operation to rid d road of ansaru elements is ongoing.

Don't forget that kidnappers use these women to lure victims or to collect ransom.

DSS are d most trained. You hardly hear of accidental discharge associated with them

why would the DSS want to shoot at anyone in traffic in the first place? this is about the third person killed by these guys (a young man in Jos, another young man tortured to death). a lawmaker who was illegally arrested & detained almost died in their custody. well, when impunity pervades the land, this is what happens.
