The criminal activities of Ijaw Militants in the Iyana-iba/Ojo area of Lagos state has been on for a while now. These Ijaw Militants were armed and given pipeline protection contracts by former President Jonathan, but since President Buhari revoked the contract, the Ijaw Militants have been causing mayhem in some communities in Lagos and Ogun state respectively; killing, kidnapping, robbing and raping at will. Last night a group of heavily armed Ijaw Militants invaded Iyana Iba through the waterways with their speedboats. The Ijaw Militants kidnapped the Oba of Iba after shooting sporadically at locals. Many people were killed and wounded including the oba's wife. |

Trapping:what concerns Fulani Herdsmen and their cows with Creeks and Pipeline? Those criminals are Ijaw, they have been vandalising pipeline and kidnapping people along that Imoshe waterway. They just kidnapped a landlord at the New Haven Estate in Iba this week. It is these same Ijaw Militants that are killing people in the riverine communities of Lagos and Ogun state. |
