Hausa - Fulani Herdsmen Invades CAC church in Lokoja Kidnaps Reverend and 4 others

Suspected Fulani herdsmen numbering over 10 , two hours ago invaded an apostolic church behind old poly quaters (1st 200 units) in Lokoja held member's hostage and kidnapped the pastor and Four others during church service.

Church members said the assailants were speaking hausa only and little of piggin English and came in with guns and other dangerous looking weapons

Less than ten days ago the former Chief Medical Director of the state specialist Hospital Prof Onumiya was also kidnapped around the same spot ,

Over the last one month lokoja has witnessed more than 100 kidnappings for ransom a situation that has made it the new capital of kidnappings in Nigeria.

Despite the helicopter hired by the state government the kidnapper's and robbers have continued to have thier field day under the watchful eyes if security agents.

The Commissioner of Police and the director DSS in kogi are more interested in their money making schemes than confronting the kidnappers, for now the CAC pastor and others including a Mechanic Atere who drives the church Bus are in the hands of the Fulani malitia.
