Letter To All My APC Friends In Nigeria

Where are my APC friends? Where are they? I cannot see you online again. Are you pushing eyes or your eyes are pushing you?

 For a simple interpretation of my grammar: I mean, are you being ashamed, or shame is catching you.

Apart from the economic hardships and inflation we are all experiencing now in nigeria, I observed that since president Buhari started his lopsided appointment, some of my APC friends have been feeling cold, some are totally off line,while some are claiming to have fallen sick.

Whatever it is, I want to advise them to cheer up. After all, I have told them prophetically, everything that is happening now and all that will happen under this government. I also told them that the desirable was not available that Buhari is not an alternative to Goodluck Jonathan. But they ignored the warning, and chose the path of voting for a government installed with deceit, vain promises and propaganda without any blueprint.

Similarly, I still remember the prophetic warning sounded by Goodluck Jonathan to all nigerians during the presidential campaign. I cannot forget such in a hurry. Goodluck said:

 “The choice before Nigerians in the coming election is simple. It is a choice between going forward and backward, between the new ways and old ways, between freedom and repression, between a record of visible achievements and beneficial reforms and desperate power seekers with empty promises.” - Former President Goodluck Jonathan

After 365 days of Buhari presidency, the pophecies by former president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in the heat of the 2015 election campaign has come to pass.

Things weren't so bad like this. The masses including all my APC friends are lamenting now. Price of goods and services are not affordable. The masses are under pains and sorrow because of bad economic policies of this government. All my APC friends have hid themselves. They hardly come online on social media unlike before. The push for the break up of Nigeria as one indivisible country is on the high side both from the south east and south south.

 It's very unfortunate that we are feeling the heat together. It would have been better if those who projected this government to the masses are the one feeling the consequences of their action alone. But it isn't like that. The multiplier effects on the poor masses cannot be over emphasized. APC government is a source of sorrow to the masses. They increased electricity tariff, they increase the price of fuel and they are charging our bank accounts for N50 stamp duty charges anytime we pay any deposit above N1,000 into our personal bank accounts. Exchange rate is nothing to write home about. They imposed tax on the masses to generate income while security votes, government esta code and allowances remain intact. What a government!
