Hello, no matter the brand, your pump will stop working if;

The power source is weak, your generator/power might nt be strong enough. There are some areas where you can only pump at midnights, and there are lot of big for nothing generators out there.

The hole discharge is greater than the recharge thereby making pump to suck air/sands. Here you have to know how much your hole is yielding out in other to know the capacity of pump to use.

I hope have been able to put more light to what your asking.

Please, the Sumo was dismounted, and the part connected to the wire was tested and it was spinning at a high rate, but the other part was stuck i.e didn't spin.

What could cause the sumo installed just in november to have this issue? Our neighbours have never had this problem for years. Could it be from the sumo or the water?

The pump is sucking sand probably due to lack of water. Luckily the motor unit is working well, the propeller is hooked.

You can try and flush the hole, let then fix the hooked head. Then let them pump the water out for a longer time so as to see if the water stops while pumping.

What's the product name of the pump? We ve some pumps dat can't withstand a tiny sediments passing through them.

I didn't get to see the pump make before it reinserted.
The workman replaced the head with another one. But the head was twice as long as the previous one. Likely a higher horsepower.

Is there any reason the pump could be pumping in a sinusoidal manner(mid flow rate to low rate and back)? It is similar to the previous head before that one stopped pumping at all.

Could the electrical part be faulty?
On your previous reply, what did you mean by we flushing the hole?
