If he keeps at it and is prudent and diligent in Business, he will end up better than the office workers in the long run.

Say you be Graduate does not guarantee you a white or blue collar job.

Two things are involved ....is either the guy was forced to study accounting by his parents or he like the accounting as a profession but did not pay attention to study it well.
I know of 2 guys in my area, they are graduates but they never apply for a job and they are not doing anything
It's either u are not a Nigeria or you parents are still putting garri in your mouth.

Absolutely you are wrong! No job in Nigeria.
What do you mean by there is no job in Nigeria? Is that. not a job? must it be a government job before it is call a job? by the way how much is government paying to even call it a job when some state governments are paying graduate N28,000 a month and I know if this guy is serious he can make a minimum of N70, 000 from the begining in a month if he put good strategies in place

The guy is wise. He has an entrepreneurial spirit. This business will grow and metamorphosed into something really big in the future. He will have certificate carrying graduates working for him.

Going to school no longer translate to getting employed automatically. You still have to use your head to create something to sustain you.

Go to school, learn how to read and write and become an entrepreneur. That's a sure path to success.

Your comment is heart breaking. I bet you are still getting spoon feed by your parents. Things are hard out there. People need motivation. 2% of graduate secure jobs based on merit. It goes with the saying "pikin wey say him papa no make am, him self go know wetin dey when he become man"

Someone already got me upset, now seeing this post of yours, you just increase the intensity, who are you to say they never applied for a job, do you monitor their activities, its never your fault, its either you are a boy just lucky to be on nairaland because his parents still take care of him, or you were just priviledge to have a good source of livelihood, then you think its that easy... watch before you talk next time, i dont expect a sane person to type that nonsense in this country we found ourselves....

Being an accounting graduate and having a professional chartership (ICAN, ACCA, CIMA etc) are two different things.

His degree cannot allow him practice accounting without the latter.

As such, it is not worth much on it's own, anymore than an average MASSCOM graduate.

Anyway, blessings to him. It shall be well.
