Now that we have heard that Soludo has purchased and submitted his form for his participation in the PDP primaries for Anambra Guber race. When will he reach out to the grass roots? Its all good to consult the establishment, trade horses and engage in back room deals as it realistically obtains in Nigerian politics. But a man who we expect to be innovative in government will also need to be at least innovative in his mode of campaign. It may not mean much but it will be nice to at this stage to at least: 1. Launch a website or blog to tell Anambra people what you are thinking 2. reach out to the grass-roots like the Unions, civil servants, Student bodies and businessmen explaining the benefits of your candidacy 3. Deliver at least one speech on your vission for Anambra State before the Primaries 4. Grant press conferences and discuss with the people and media on the issues that matter to Anambra people and the way forward. All of these may not be what matters most in Nigerian politics but a man who wants to be held in high esteem should at least have new ways of campaigning which should signal the direction he wants to take the rest of us. Back room deals with Abuja politicians alone will put you at risk of remaining indebted to these guys forever. Please folks please suggest to Soludo and other Anambra Politicians what new ways of campaigning you want to see in Nigerian politics. |

I think its too early! I think when the primary season is over, then we can talk to the people. Plus the timing is not right considering the banking brouhaha this Sanusi of a guy has caused. |
