Before u consider the later,pls check proximity to ur place of work.most times itsnt only the cost of accommodation that matarz .check how much u will spend on transport to both schools .however if b it's same,just take the 75k own oooo .nothing is permanent, one day them fit come sack u and u no go get place to hide ur head.be wise bro...good jobs though.

And for threat and stress, does he know what he will face where he is going? And to be realistic with you op, no job security anywhere. There is always threat. My first take is, y will a company or firm as you to reapply for the same position you occupy if not away to sack or intimidate you.
Excelling is key to success, get a small accommodation to start with then make sure you kip the extra 10k for a better and befitting accommodation.

Nobody can anticipate what will happen next if he chooses the next job in terms of security, adaptation, salary payments, general acceptability etc

By re-applying and chosen back, all these are 80% guaranteed in his 65k job with accommodation: dismissal happens because the school undergoes re-structuring, not about doubting his competence. Besides, is 10k an enough factor to change one's job?

A bird at hand is the best way to eat the chicken: he should stick with his first job with high sense of anticipation.

It is not even wise to live in the property of ur employer. He should take the new job and have a life. Cos now he doesnt have a life.

You want a situation whereby you will loose both your job and your house at the same time when you're sacked? Abeg take the 75k offer!

For your friend to get a new job offer, it means he applied for the job while he was still in his current job. Doesn't that give you a clue that he wants the new job?

My advice is, he should make enquiries about the new school before resigning from his current job

Lets be reasonable for once, it is right for a worker to re-apply for position he already hold, please such practise is meaningless cuss staff appraisal should be reasonable rather than re-applying, your present school is zero when it comes to human resources managemenent and note change is constant.

OP, this is the solution to your question.

Another reason why you have to move on is that your current employer has no regard for his/her employees otherwise they wouldnt be asking you people to re-apply for a job you have been doing.

Any job with accommodation most times lead to slavery,nd if u think of loosing ur accommodation most times,u accept every bitter thing thrown @ u jst to maintain d accomodation.cut ur coat according to ur size,rent ur own house nd manage.God will bless ur hustle.speaking with experience
