As part of his personal Community Development Service (CDS), A corps member in Igabi Local Government area of Kaduna state, Lawal Abdul lateef organized an inter-schools quiz competition for some secondary school students in the state to further enhance their studies.
The students are from Ehcowas Discovery Academy, Government Girls secondary school kawo and Government secondary school kawo, all in Igabi council area. Two students represented each of the schools as they tested on current affairs, Chemistry, Biology and English language.
At the end of the competition, Government Girls Secondary school came first and they were awarded a trophy among other gift items while the runner-up went home with different consolation prizes. Speaking on his motivation, the organizer who is from Offa, Kwara State and graduated in Chemistry from University of Ilorin said the initiative was part of his efforts to impact on lives and education of the students. The quiz competition attracted lot of guests including community leaders, teachers, NYSC officials and countless students.
