The dss shud do a proper investigation concerning this rumour to avoid history repeating itself, in 1983 there was high rumour of coup and all national daily carried it so the govt now started investigating d rumour,the real coup planners in order to divert Govt searchlight on them now arrested major bamidele chained him on handcuffs and flew him from jos to lagos and presented him to d govt as the coup planner major bamidele was incarcerated and investigation of the coup plot rumour closed ,few months after the close of the investigation the real coup plotters struck.
