They preached the good news
In season and out of season
With the method they find it fit

In strength and weakness
Even as neighbours shun the call
Always abiding in His work
Joyful at seing some saved

Many a times mocked
Sometimes, threat to their life
So did the Master finish His work
And bid them continue as He did

And if they pay the ultimate price of death
As the Master was crucified
And other faithful saints of old
There await them a crown on the other side

How beautiful are the feet
Of them that preach the gospel of peace
And bring glad tidings
Of good things
