There is an unusual Sunday trend at Ahmadu Bello Way a major part of Jos Plateau State known for commercial activities and often regarded as the computer/GSM village in the state. It now houses shoe hawkers/marketers of all kinds.

The area is famous for being totally locked down and quiet on Sundays as most businesses see it as a resting day. But a trend that started casually with few shoe hawkers, has now developed into a huge market as seen in the photos. matthewteghaBlog correspondent, Speaking to some of the people that were there to purchase shoes, they confirmed that it was the perfect timing and day where they could get some of the best and affordable shoes of all kinds, both new but mostly fairly used shoes.

Some of the Hawkers also confirmed that they come from various other markets within the town because the place is now becoming a Sunday business point for shoes and thereby they make more sales than other days when they go back to their original business points.
