No past president comes close to Buhari when you talk of tribalism. The man is up there by himself, 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

This is the kind of question people see in exam an smile. The answer is: The only president in the history of mankind that told the world that obviously he will favour the part that voted him in. Forgetting that when you become president, you don't show that sentiment.

The great unforgiving one!!!Buhari

Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, a simple look at his appointments point to the fact.

PMB is not marginalizing the east regarding appointments, they are just not ready to admit that they marginalized themselves by being the only region that horribly failed to spread their votes across both parties, thereby effectively locking themselves out from this government. PDP was even able to win at least 2 states in the North. The only state APC could win in the SE is led by a man that is openly condemned by Ibos for his association with other regions/tribes.

You cannot play politics of hatred and reap loving results. No man (or region) is an island, especially in politics.

GEJ is the easy answer to your question. Ignore the joker above me that is fraudulently including Ministers of State in order to cheat in this exam.

QuotaSystem:

Igbos don't need political posts to survive. Igbos don't even need the presidency.

When has not voting someone amounts to hatred? When has exercising one's franchise right become hatred?

It's not a must for Igbos to support anyone politically.

Talking of hate, in the build up to the 2015 general elections Hausa-Fulanis and Yorubas ran a hate-filled campaign of campaign of calumny against GEJ administration.

Your numerous media outfits abused GEJ and the office of the presidency with reckless abandon. You called GEJ unprintable names - clueless, shoeless, drunkard, fisherman, dumb, Boko-Haram sponsor even when it's an open secret that BH was an evil invention by Northerners to destabilise and islamise the country; coupled with treasonable threats like forming a parallel govt, make the country ungovernable,  'soaked in the blood of dog and the baboon' threat.
https://www.nairaland.com/601158/nasarawa-protesters-hurl-stones-jonathans

Your elites spearheaded the campaigns of calumny and insults that earned GEJ the most insulted president ever in history.

If Hausa-Fulanis do not harbour bile-filled hatred towards other tribes they wouldn't go about maiming, killing, destroying and ravaging human lives and properties.

You are more concerned about the Igbo people seeking self-determination peacefully than a group of islamic fanatics butchering and slaughtering people under the guise of religion even without provocation.

At the outset of PMB administration Igbo leaders were the first to visit Aso Rock to congratulate him and pledge their support for him. Immediately Yorubas and their cohorts were infuriated and were all over the media ranting and abusing Igbo leaders for making such visits. The bitterness was vivid and yet Igbo leaders did not insult or attack the presidency.
https://www.nairaland.com/3230918/why-se-governors-afraid-criticize-pmb

It's no gainsaying over the decades Yorubas and Hausa-Fulanis have proven to have voted along tribal lines. Not so with the Igbos. Over the decades Igbos have been exceptionally nationalistic in the affairs of this union.

For the Hausa-Fulanis, in 1979 Igbos voted for Shehu Shagari against Zik. And in 2007, Igbos voted Yaradua.

For the Yorubas, in 1993 Igbos voted for MKO Abiola against Tofa/Sylvester Ugoh.
In 1999 and 2003 voted Obasanjo despite the unfair manner Alex Ekwueme was edged out of the race and who was actually better off.

For the Ogbia/Ijaw, Igbos voted GEJ in 2007 against other Igbo candidate.

Igbos built ties, formed alliances and voted for Northerners and Yorubas to enable them get the presidency even at the expense of Igbo candidates. That's an indisputable fact!

When Ojukwu contested in 2003, how many Yorubas and their Northern masters voted for him?
How many votes did the Northern Muslims give GEJ in 2011 or 2015?
Who has complained about that?

But your anger is that Igbos voted GEJ, who is not even an Igbo man.

It's pathetic you lots go about with the propaganda that Igbos are tribal in voting and hate others for not joining Hausa-Fulanis and Yorubas to vote for 'CHANGE' in 2015. Yet Igbos have been far from political power for some 50 years counting.
If the Igbos hate Fulanis then Igbos wouldn't have voted in Shagari in 1983 or Yaradua in 2007.

Hausa-Fulanis and Yorubas shouldn't expect Igbos and Easterners to deludedly Kowtow to their whims and caprices and follow sheepishly in voting in whatever candidate they present.

Igbos Remain Pillar Of My Govt - Goodluck Jonathan

The lingering crisis rocking the apex-Igbo
socio-cultural organisation, Ohaneze Ndigbo
came to the fore at the weekend when
notable Igbo leaders, including governors,
ministers, national and state assembly
lawmakers boycotted the annual Igbo Day
celebration.
This is coming as the group's President-
General, Gary Igariwey, foreclosed the
possibility of an Igbo occupying the
presidency of the country by 2015, saying
Ndigbo could only aspire for the plum job
when President Goodluck Jonathan or any
other South-southerner would have served
out his eight-year unbroken rule.
However, apart from President Jonathan and
Governor Sullivan Chime of Enugu State, who
were represented by Minister of Power, Prof.
Chinedu Nebo and Commissioner for Culture,
Joe Mammel, respectively, former Ministers of
Aviation and Health, Chief Mbazulike Amaechi
and Prof A.B.C. Nwosu, respectively, a
handful of traditional rulers, various cultural
groups, and other notable leaders were
absent.
In his speech, Jonathan acknowledged the
massive support he had continued to receive
from the people of the South-east since he
became president, pledging his commitment
to reciprocate the gesture by ensuring the
development of the zone.
"You have remained a pillar of support for my
administration; you have indeed given me
greater support than any other ethnic group
in the country. I want to also assure you that
I will not take your support for granted.
"As you are aware, my administration has
continued to make efforts towards addressing
the marginalisation of the zone. We are
already addressing the infrastructural deficit
in the zone; the international airport has
taken off and plans are underway to develop
it as one of the major aerotropolis in the
country. With the dredging of the River Niger
and the award of contract for the second
Niger Bridge, you can agree with me that the
South-east can no longer remain the same,"
he said.
The president further used the opportunity to
praise the Igbo people for the unwavering
belief in the unity of the country as evidenced
in the manner the people of the area have
continued to invest massively in every part of
the country.
"Igbos are resourceful, sociable, highly
industrious and have a strong republican
orientation," he said, and, therefore, urged
the people of the zone to rediscover and hold
tenaciously that the great attributes that made
the first and second republic Igbo leaders
thick.
Also speaking, Igariwey reviewed the place of
the Igbos in the country, noting that the event
called for a sober reflection.
"Our people have been expose to lots of
dangers; our people are killed recklessly by
Boko Haram and their properties destroyed.
Time has come for the federal government to
do all it can to check this ugly situation," he
said while calling on the people to cultivate
the habit of investing at home.
On the presidency of the country, Igariwey
lamented that the major challenge facing the
people of the South-east was their inability to
speak with one voice, noting that the only way
the people of the zone would get the
presidency would be for them to be united.
"Whether they like it or not, we remain the
largest ethnic group in Nigeria. Ohaneze made
it clear three years ago that we will seek the
presidency immediately after the South-south
would have completed its unbroken tenure
whether in 2015 or 2019.
"But let's us bear in mind that we have been
too quiet and that cannot get us the
presidency. The Yorubas fought for June 12
and eventually got the presidency with
Obasanjo; the South-south did the same and
were destroying pipelines and now they have
the presidency. Though, I am not advising
that we should destroy pipelines but we have
to show that we equally deserve to have the
presidency," he said.
On his part, the chairman of the occasion and
First Republic Minister of Aviation, Amaechi,
took a swipe at Igbo political office holders
especially governors, ministers and legislators
or having failed to take Igbo land to the next
level.
The elder statesman who went down memory
lane, lamented that unlike during the First
Republic when no serious decision was taken
in the country without inputs from the Igbos
was made, the South-east has been relegated
to the background, a problem he heaped on
the heads of the governors.
"Did we elect them to be blowing siren and
accumulating wealth? We gave them power so
they could use it to better the lot of the Igbo
man but unfortunately, they have failed us as
a people," he said, while calling for a
rediscovery.

QuotaSystem:

Ignore the joker above me that is fraudulently including Ministers of State in order to cheat in this exam.
apc got two states out of 19 in the north is that spread compare the south 5 out of 17. Which side was more liberal voter u just separated se and compare wit entire north and abeg apc no win imo
