Government Policy On Farming. by unilagfreshest(m): 8:17am On Jul 29, 2016 |
Today, I was wondering with my dad, why cant everyone go farming (planting, livestocks, etc). It should work with government policies. If you have a land in Nigeria, if you are not constructing on it, then you must farm else it will be taken from you. Even if its as low as planting maize, to rubber, millet, cocoa depending on your farm size and soil quality. Government will provide adequate fertilizer to help lands that are not fertile enough. Government agent will move from communities to localities, enforcing the law. No land should be left fallow in Nigeria. Imagine a community where every neighbourhood is known for a particular farm trade. Mr A has a poultry, B is into rice production, C is into cattle rearing, D is into Cotton production... Imagine what the fate of Nigeria will be in 10 years time, There will be enough to eat, sell. Food security will be assured, Job opportunities will jaburata, our foreign exchange will go back to normal... please Nigerians lets think.. Nigeria can still be better...cc mod, lalasticlala |
