It is difficult to believe that any Federal Government Road in
Nigeria can still be like this after 17 years into this democratic
dispensation and still counting. And all the pretension and
noise about representative governance and dividends, and all
the trillions of naira that have been budget on road
construction and rehabilitation.
Yet this is the state of the Federal Road from Obollo Afor -
Eha-Amufu - Nkalagu that cuts across Enugu and Ebonyi
States of South East region. And this the road that leads to the
Federal College of Education, Eha-Amufu and the Nigeria
Cement Company (NIGERCEM) Nkalagu, the premier cement
industry in the country.
Nothing can breed dissent and antagonism more than this kind
of neglect and abandonedment by successive governments of
a people that have been fulfilling their civic obligations to the
father land.

First, how is this even a Federal Government road? Looks like a bush path and a rickety bridge over a stream to me. This should be fixed by your state government or even local government.

Second, I can't believe you guys are complaining now given the fact that most of you voted for continuity of the party that has been in power looting and stealing your destinies for the past 16years of Nigeria's return to democracy.

I'm sure that bridge was built during the civil war to allow soldiers cross the stream.
